This act of punishment ignited a thirst for vengeance among the demons, driving them to seek power strong enough to erase humanity.

To defend themselves, humanity turned to one of Lord Kai’s sons, who bestowed fragments of his power upon them. This gift awakened a new breed of warriors—humans blessed with magic, known as Assassins.
